I moved to Kentucky and lived in a 200 year old house on a huge 256 acre farm with a company that relocated there. I was only living there for a year, but my landlords were awesome people who invited me over for dinner, and shared special recipes – this is one, Thanks Mary Ann. I have since found a recipe on line that is like this one, so to be fair, I thought I would share that link as I do not know where my friend Mary Ann got it from.
1 Stick of Butter
1 Cup of Flour
1/2 Cup chopped nuts
Mix above and spread into a 13×9 inch pan, bake at 375 °F for 15 minutes. Cool.
1 8oz Package Cream Cheese, softened
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Whipped Topping
Spread the above 3 ingredients on top of the cooled crust.
2 Packages Lemon Instant Pudding (small packages)
3 Cups Milk.
Spread the two ingredients above on the above two layers. Spread more whipped topping on top of the third layer.
Sprinkle with finely topped nuts, or toasted chopped pecans.
Refrigerate.
